B2B DEVELOPER CONSOLE
A 0-to-1 B2B platform that empowers enterprise clients to customize white-label Web3 payment interfaces, manage multi-admin permissions, and streamline developer onboarding.
Executive Summary

Tweed provides enterprise-grade infrastructure for self-custodial key management, white-label embedded wallets, and fiat onramp/offramp processing. While the underlying API infrastructure was powerful, client teams lacked a centralized visual console to configure payment flows, manage team security, and monitor transactions without writing extensive custom frontend code.
As the 0-to-1 Lead Product Designer, I directed the end-to-end UX architecture and visual design for Tweed’s B2B Developer Console. I transformed complex cryptographic and payment setup flows into an intuitive visual platform—enabling client product managers and engineers to customize checkout experiences, govern API permissions, and track live operations in minutes.
Key Impact & Results
🚀 0-to-1 Self-Serve Onboarding: Replaced manual developer setups with a self-serve visual dashboard, reducing client onboarding time from weeks to hours.
🛠️ Reduced Dev Overhead: Eliminated the need for clients to build custom checkout UIs by providing out-of-the-box white-label customization controls.
🔒 Enterprise-Grade Governance: Delivered robust role-based access control (RBAC) and environment switching (Sandbox to Live), enabling seamless security compliance.
📈 Scalable System Architecture: Built a modular UI design system ready to support future enterprise B2B product lines and multi-tenant expansions.
Context & The Challenge
1. Abstract & High-Stakes Web3 Infrastructure
Web3 key management and fiat-to-crypto checkout flows carry inherent technical friction. The platform needed to demystify complex concepts—such as wallet recovery keys, webhooks, and fiat routing—without overwhelming non-technical client stakeholders.
2. Multi-Tenant Customization vs. Consistency
Clients required total visual control over how embedded checkout modals appeared on their platforms. The console needed a real-time customization engine that guaranteed brand fidelity while maintaining underlying component usability and security.
3. Strict Security & Environment Workflows
Managing live API keys and customer wallet settings demands zero tolerance for error. The console required explicit visual guardrails between test environments (Sandbox) and live production logic.

Strategic Approach & UX Architecture
To build a best-in-class developer portal, I audited industry gold standards (Stripe Dashboard, Privy, Auth0) and conducted user interviews with client engineering leads to map integration pain points.
Discovery & Research: Audited top-tier B2B developer platforms and interviewed target clients to identify friction points in API key setup and payment testing.
Architecture & Flow Mapping: Wireframed multi-tenant logic, access hierarchies, and the real-time configuration engine.
Prototyping & Testing: Built interactive Figma prototypes to validate real-time customization controls and permission rule structures with target enterprise users.
Implementation & Telemetry: Partnered closely with frontend engineers to define API workflows, conduct UI/UX QA sweeps, and map analytics tracking events for core user actions.

Key Capabilities Built
1. Real-Time Payment Customizer
Visual Configuration Engine: Designed an intuitive WYSIWYG editor where clients can brand payment modals, adjust primary/secondary surface tokens, upload custom assets, and toggle checkout steps.
Live Interactive Preview: Engineered a side-by-side preview panel allowing product teams to test checkout interactions in real time before pushing styles to production.

2. Multi-Admin Access Control (RBAC) & Key Governance
Role-Based Permissions: Built tailored views for Admin, Developer, and Finance roles to safeguard API keys, webhook configurations, and payout settings.
Key Lifecycle Management: Created secure flows for generating, rolling, and revoking API keys across both Sandbox and Production environments with audit logging.
3. Developer Onboarding & Telemetry
Guided Integration Setup: Designed an interactive step-by-step onboarding guide helping developers move from first login to sending their first test transaction in minutes.
Payment Operations & Analytics: Built high-density monitoring dashboards displaying real-time transaction volume, success/failure rates, and detailed API request logs for rapid troubleshooting.
Impact & Takeaways
By delivering a human-centered B2B console for a deeply technical backend infrastructure, Tweed successfully positioned itself as an enterprise-ready payment partner:
⚡ Accelerated Time-to-Market: Client engineering teams saved days of custom development time using out-of-the-box white-label controls.
📉 Reduced Integration Friction: Visual configuration and clear environment toggles drastically decreased client support requests during onboarding.
🏢 Enterprise Scalability: Laid a scalable foundation for Tweed to expand into new fiat onramp features, complex key-custody controls, and multi-tenant enterprise offerings.
